Amlec provides armed response services to clients in KwaZulu-Natal, with highly trained patrols and response teams who are dedicated to keeping our clients safe. Our security officers are disciplined, dedicated, and effective in any emergency.
In addition to PSIRA training, our reaction teams are trained in fire arm skills, how to handle dogs on a property, hand signals, basic first aid, fire fighting and self defense to name a few.

Our officers are trained not to enter your premises unless accompanied by the client or a client representative. All Amlec Vehicles are tracked by the Cartrack System and we can at any time pinpoint the position of the vehicle.
NB! Outside of the greater Pietermaritzburg area, we have entered into a Joint Venture agreements with various response companies.
The Amlec Control Room unlike other service providers control rooms, is designed to be operated by three control room operators during the day and 2 at night, working three shifts, thus ensuring an efficient and professional service on a 24 hour basis. The norm in the Industry is two operators during the day and one at night.
Our Controllers are selected after passing a stringent training programmed.
For clients outside of the KZN region, Amlec is proud to offer a range of remote monitoring services – our cutting-edge technology allows us to monitor security systems anywhere in the world. We provide an extra set of eyes to watch over your home or business – especially at times when you are away from the premises.
Maintenance and System checks are done on a weekly basis. Furthermore, controllers are competent in assisting clients with a number of technical issues relating to the operation of their alarm systems, thus negating the need to call in technicians and SAVING YOU MONEY. Operations, which can be controlled remotely, include –
- Arming, disarming and bypassing systems on request of a client
